The Prairie Ecology Bus Center After School program that was rescheduled for today (12.21) is now CANCELLED.

Going to be a busy night at Windom Area Schools with activities! Luckily we have a night where we have weather that allows our kids to compete. 4:45 PM B-Squad Boys Basketball Windom vs. Worthington (Blue Gym) 5:00 PM Wrestling Tri Between Windom/Redwood Valley/Pipestone (Gold Gym) 6:00 PM Windom vs. Worthington Boys Varsity Basketball (Blue Gym) 6:00 PM Windom vs. Blue Earth Girls B-Squad Basketball (Elementary Gym) 7:15 PM Windom vs. Blue Earth Girls Varsity Basketball (Blue Gym) K-3rd Grade basketball will be performing at halftime of the Girls Varsity Game! Boys Varsity Hockey is also on the road tonight 5:30 pm puck drop at Fairmont! #GoEagles #GoCobras

There IS Family Open Gym in the Blue Gym 1-3 PM today. There is no open gym the next 2 Sundays (Christmas Day & New Years Day.) Family Open Gym will resume again Sunday, January 8.

There will be no K-3 Basketball camp tomorrow morning December 17th. This is because the Gold gym is still set up for the Elementary Concert, and uncertainty with the weather.  We do have a couple of our halftime performances coming up next week:  The first will be Tuesday December 20th when the Windom Varsity Girls Basketball team hosts the Blue Earth Buccaneers at 7:15 PM this will be for Kindergarten- 1st grade. The second date will be Thursday December 22nd when the Windom Varsity Boys Basketball team hosts the TCU-Titans at 7:15 this is for 2nd and 3rd graders. The final date is Saturday January 7th when the Windom Varsity Boys Basketball program hosts the Sibley East Wolverines at 4:00 PM this is for all K-3 Basketball players. Students get into the games for free. With 4 minutes to go in the first half of the varsity game they should gather in the hallway by the weight-room. At halftime they will perform a larger group ball handling routine. They can bring their own basketball, and we will have extras available if they do not have one. This is an awesome opportunity for the kids to watch the Varsity teams play, and to get to perform on the blue gym floor with a crowd.

All evening activities have been postponed. The K-3 concert has been rescheduled for Sunday at 6:00 for K&1st and 7:00 for 2nd & 3rd in the Gold Gym at the Middle High School.

Today, December 13, Windom Area Schools will be closed due to icy and slushy road conditions and temps staying at the freezing point. All evening activities will be postponed. The K-3 concert is rescheduled for Friday at the same time in the Gold Gym.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 13, Windom Area Schools will be 2 hours late. There will be no morning preschool.

There is no Family Open Gym today, Sunday, Dec 11. Open gym will resume next Sunday, Dec. 18. Thank you.

There will be a tailgate supper put on by Chloe Shamp and Autum McFadden prior to GBB vs. Redwood Valley on 12/9 and prior to BBB vs. Worthington on 12/13. #GoEagles

The Windom Eagle Boys Basketball Team hosts the JCC Huskies tonight in the blue gym! 4:45 PM C-Squad 6:00PM B-Squad 7:15 PM Varsity Tonight and at all future home events this winter there will be a shopping cart by the ticket booth to donate non-perishable food items to the Cottonwood County Sharing center.

Parents & Community Members - Our elementary students continue to Soar Higher as they practice Responsibility, Respect, and Pride within our school community! We are celebrating our students’ continued success with an all school Bingo event to be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. If you would like to donate a small prize or monetary gift to purchase prizes for our event, please send the donation with your student or stop by and drop it off at the office by the end of the day Tuesday, December 20th.
